Words cannot express how sweet Matt has been this week. I love him.
Something strange has been going on with my health lately. I'm not sure if I have a strange food allergy or if I am just extremely susceptible to the flu... but I have been sick two or three times within the last few months. It's irritating and I hate it and frankly, I am turning into a huge baby about it.
This week, I made it to work on Monday (even though I KNEW I was going to vomit). I lasted less than an hour, then went home and stayed in bed for two days straight. Seriously, I got out of bed to vomit and that's about it. Whatever it was that hit me was cruel and unforgiving, when I wasn't hanging my head over the toilet, I was laying in bed crying. Pathetic, right?
Thank God Matt loves me as much as he does. He worked from home as much as possible and brought me 7-up, gatorade, chicken soup, saltines (all of which I threw up, but hey... at least he attempted to keep me hydrated). He didn't complain ONCE, not even when I called him crying and yelling last night because I was finally REALLY hungry last night and he wasn't home to get me anything.
I'm embarassed that I was such a big sissy about being sick (I usually try to tough it out), but oh so very thankful that he was there to help.
I swear if we owned a haz-mat suit he would have worn it, but he was still there being a swee hubby/nurse. He's dreamy sometimes.

Awww. Nurse Steinmetz to the rescue! I know Brian's held my hair back on more than one occassion. And I may give him crap about how he whines like a baby when he's sick - I'd do the same for him. Ain't love grand? Brings a whole new meaning to "in sickness and in health" doesn't it??
Awwwwww - so sweet!! Just when you really need them... they really do come through!!!
Go Matt! I hope you are feeling better!
Wow, what a terrible week for you. Rest up and take good care of yourself. How nice to have the good care and support of your hubby!
